Wedding Show

We were delighted to once again attend the Bride Norfolk Wedding Show at the Norfolk Showground in February.

We have attended the show for many years now and we think it just goes from strength to strength. There is no question it is the premier event for couples looking for inspiration for their big day!

However, the downside of having attended for so many years, is that it is increasingly difficult to come up with new and exciting ways to showcase what we do but I think we pulled it off once again!
We had a slightly different stand space this year – more square in shape – so we were able to create a virtual entrance to Langley Abbey, which is one of our fabulous portfolio venues. The astro turf and mood lighting helped to create a really special space where we were able to meet couples and discuss their individual needs. We were thrilled to take a number of bookings on the day and our diaries for the coming weeks are chocca with bookings for couples to come and view our venues or discuss their catering requirements.

As if that didn’t keep us busy enough, we also ran the catering for visitors to the fair and we are pleased to report that the addition of our cappuccino maker was met with an enthusiastic response – definitely something that will return in future years.
We were also particularly pleased with our eco-friendly advertising! In previous years we have had a huge, printed banner hung off the walls of the arena to let visitors know what we do, but this year we got creative… Simply by turning the banner to face the wall, we created a blank canvas onto which we projected video and footage of our events. Much kinder to the environment and more fun to watch too!

We really do love the Bride Wedding Show. Norfolk is such a special place and having been in the industry for over 35 years we know there are plenty of wonderful venues and fantastic caterers out there, so the show not only gives us the opportunity to meet couples in person, it’s a chance to catch up with fellow industry professionals and friends!
