On 12th September we were delighted to once again host our annual Fish & Chip supper here at Brasted’s.
This much-loved annual event celebrates the heroic efforts of the local fishermen who crew the independent lifeboat at Caister on the North Sea, which is the first of only two offshore lifeboats in the UK that is independent of the RNLI and we are so proud to be supporting them.
Once again the evening was sold out with over 160 guests enjoying a delicious fish and chip supper, with fish sourced by the crewmen themselves and of course a Brasted’s twist, including a sumptuous summer-inspired dessert. There was also entertainment and a raffle on the night and we are delighted to report that the evening raised a fabulous £5347 for the lifeboat.
So we would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who attended on the night and did such a tremendous job of raising these much-needed funds for the lifeboat. And, of course, a huge thank you to the crew for catching our supper!
